Lambeth’s outreach team is making strides agains Lambeth’s outreach team is making strides against drug-related ASB!

Brixton’s drug & alcohol outreach scheme has been made permanent after a successful 18-month pilot, which has helped nearly 2,000 people.

“Since being put in place the outreach team has worked to boost referrals to treatment programmes, cut the number of injecting drug users, decreasing drug-related deaths and lowered of drug and alcohol-related ASB.”

But as Cllr Hashi notes, “there’s more work to be done.”

Like us, @dailymail is asking, how rife is anti-so Like us, @dailymail is asking, how rife is anti-social behaviour in your area?

Using official crime figures collated by #police forces, these maps break down #CrimeRates by local neighbourhoods of roughly 1,000 to 2,000 people. Take a look at Brixton’s figures. Each area is rated by offences per 1,000 population, so you can see exactly where your area stands on reported anti-social crime.

The real question though is, is everyone reporting?

Did you #DareToShare? Last week @brixtonbid broug Did you #DareToShare?

Last week @brixtonbid brought local MPs, @MetPolice @lambeth_council @safer_lambeth and Brixton businesses together to tackle ASB in #Brixton. The Q&A sparked real talk about better reporting, better data-driven resourcing, and better teamwork to address ASB in our area.

#Businesses shared their daily challenges and officials listened. Everyone agreed: it’s time for action, not just talk!

Thanks @BrixtonBID for creating a space where businesses and communities could speak up and be heard.
